Lord help the mister who comes between me and my Sister!

I spoke with my sister today, I could tell I was going to pitch in and help her get her house ready. She's a busy gal, RN, long hours, and sometimes sisters just need each others help. Plus, I don't mind rummaging around her house, you see, we were cut from the same cloth. She loves to collect as much as I do. I also needed some pictures for a new post, so on my way I went. Oh, how I wish I would have had more time to concentrate on taking pictures, but I needed to remember she had me coming over for another purpose. Focus Glenda! So I have posted just a few items that I lust over, and I want to secretly put in my shirt pocket, if they would fit, and run out the door. She loves old brown bottles, maps, trophy cups, souvenir pillows; and she also loves things I make for her. Yes, the last picture is the paperweight I made. I did come home with a couple of goody bags. Thanks sis! Have fun with your gal pals from work.

Promise next post to show the antique mall I sell and display at. Can't thank you enough for stopping by!

  1. Hey Glenda! Your sister's house does look fabulous. Maybe you could sneak out some stuff for me, too. (: And yes, linoleum would be great on the top of your trunk. Can't wait to see how it turns out. xo

  2. You do seem to be cut from the same fabulous, vintage cloth! What a pretty home. And YOU, my dear, string words together quite well. What a blessing it must have been to your sister for you to clean her home!

  4. Stopping by your blog via Kelly, Tales from the South. Read todays title "Lord help the mister..." and had to stay. White Christmas is one of my all time favorite movies and I sing that song in my head often so... love your pics and want some of your sister's stuff myself.
    Cheers, dana

  7. That house looks familiar...
By the way, I love my paperweight. I get compliments on it all the time - and I'm sure it's not just because of the cute little baby boy picture inside :). Miss you bunches.

  8. Wow, your sister really has some great stuff!
Those trophy cups would turn up mysteriously missing if I ever paid your sister a visit. ;-)

    Have a wonderful week!
